Parents and Students,
I hope everyone is safe and warm at home. With the chaos of the last few days I have not been able to send out a reminder email about the many events going on with the band this February.
- – We have a Band Parent Meeting February 13 at 6:00pm. We are already starting to prepare for next year, so it is crucial that every parent make an effort to be in attendance.
- – The band has two performance dates this February. February 10th we are going to B.B. Comer to perform in the Talladega County Concert Band Showcase. On February 26th we will travel to Gadsden to participate in the State Music Performance Assessment.
- – If any parents can chaperone our trip to Gadsden on the 26th please let me know. All are welcome on this trip!!!
- – Next week starts after school rehearsal for MPA. With the school cancellations these are even more important. All students were given a calendar with all rehearsal dates at the beginning of January. To perform at our highest level it is important that all students make the upcoming afternoon rehearsals. These rehearsals are required and will affect students' grades and their ability to participate in our MPA field trip.
